Vyteris, Inc., is the maker of the first active drug delivery patch to receive marketing clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA.) In the summer of 2007, Vyteris announced the launch of its lead product LidoSite^®, the first FDA-approved prefilled anesthetic patch.
